Dear momma,
You’re doing fine. In fact, you’re doing more than fine because you are extraordinary. Being a first time mom will be one of the hardest things that you’ll ever have to do – between the fatigue, breastfeeding, crying (on your part and baby’s) and adjusting to maternity leave, you might feel like you’re a completely different person.
I had a difficult birthing experience but the second I laid eyes on my baby boy, my world changed. I was a mom. No matter how many hours you’ve poured over Pinterest posts about being a first time mom, you’re never really prepared.
You’re stronger than you think you are. I’ve told myself so many times that “I can’t do this” because the days are tough and the nights are so much longer than they ever seemed pre-baby. People tell you that it gets easier – it doesn’t. You just get stronger because you’re a mom and that’s your superpower.
Love this! So true. You are never ready but instinct kicks in. Thanks for sharing!
